Who We Are

About Our Organisation

Mimansha Foundation is a non-profit organization registered under section-8 India’s company act-2013 for promoting social welfare objectives by a group of likeminded people with experience in development sector to capable community in reflection of truth. It is registered with Niti Aayog’s NGO Darpan portal as non-for-profit social organization with the registration no. JH/2024/0399217. It is also affiliated for availing the CSR activities under registration number CSR00062842. Since its inception from 2022 Mimansha Foundation is involved in different community development activities especially with girls and women in health and nutrition, child marriage, child labor, remedial classes for school dropout, mentoring and coaching in sports activities, skill development, enterprise promotion, organic farming, water management and climate resilient sustainable agriculture practices at Madhupur Block of Deoghar District in Jharkhand. MF promote and secure vulnerable and marginalized girls and women through development of professionalism and providing them with opportunities and make them capable with result-oriented programs with close collaboration with Government schemes and departments such as ICDS, Agriculture Department, Jharkhand Education Project and District and State support. We also collaborated with National and International NGOs like CINI, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, Jharkhand FORCES etc.

MF aspires to improve the living conditions of the girls and women by adopting strategies through community initiative participation and sensitization. It is founded in 2022 and its main working location is Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand State. If necessary, MF team is capable to implement any program/project in any other State of India. Mimansha Foundation is comprising with 3 female and 2 female Directors and advisors in its executive committee with diverse background and experiences in development sector. The key members are well equipped with skills in writing grant proposals, planning, implementation and monitoring, report writing and coordination and management for the program/project .

  • 90 school dropout girls reintegrated into mainstream education.
  • 1100 adolescent girls provided with life skill education in 4 modules such as rights and protection, health and nutrition, resilience and financial literacy.
  • 362 students provided career counselling to choose right courses after completion of their 10th and 12th examination.

Economic Empowerment

  • 106 Joint liability groups formed and 1970 women entrepreneurs trained and linked with income generation activity.
  • 35 adolescent girls age 10-19 yrs mobilized to get their socio and economic empowerment.
  • 268 women’s started production of vermicompost and increase their income level by 50% annually.
  • 315 women entrepreneurs gained an income of Rs.10000 to 15000 after selling of tamarind and plash flower during the season.

Safety and Violence

  • 50 awareness camps organized in which 3000 adolescent girls and women and other community members were participated, for the rights and protection of adolescent girls and women like domestic violence, sexual violence, eve teasing etc.
  • 20 Cyber security camps organized to introduced to cyber security fundamentals, promote safe digital habits and cultivate habits in high demand IT career.

Community Engagement

  • 35 community level meetings organized for awareness building on gender equality, child marriage, child labor and challenging social norms.
  • 24 parents meeting organized to foster collaboration between adolescent girls and guardians, ensuring a holistic understanding of girl’s behavior, and social and emotional development.
